Looking for different options on which 5 players to protect...What do you think?

10 Teams - Rotisserie System Scoring for BA, HR, RBI, SB / ERA, S, Ws
Each team shall consist of a Starting Lineup, Reserve Squad and Developmental Squad as follows:
Starting Lineup (25 players):
Two Catchers
Two First Basemen
Two Second Basemen
Two Third Basemen
Two Shortstops
Six Outfielders
Nine Pitchers
Reserve Squad:
Five Players of any position or experience level
Each franchise owner shall be allowed a budget of $26.00 to acquire 25 players.
All teams returning from the previous year may retain or ‘protect’ 5 players from the previous years' roster with a salary raise of $.50.

In this format, pitchers have far less value than hitters. I might punt starters and go only with relievers to try win SV and ERA.

I'd go Beltran, Teixeira, McLouth, Phillip and Uggla.

Teixeria, Lidge (or Fuentes, you pick), Uggla, Beltran, Granderson (or McLouth, you pick)

Gotta say I am suprised by the Beltran pick. Price seems right for both closers & 2Bs. I get stuck on Granderson/McLouth vs big Tex.
