Pre-draft. So while I still don't know who will be available, I got to think there will be some options (ie. Peavy (35), Santana (42))

Pre-draft - stick with what you got. Webb and Dice-K are the better talents, so if it was post draft you could go for it and give up the value to take the studs, but since it's pre-draft take the value with Lee/Cueto/Gallardo.

By getting Webb, you are getting the bonafide ace your staff needs. You can probably draft potentials equivalent to cueto, and dice-k is a nice add in. I say go for it! If you have salary to spare I wouldnt worry about it.
Bottom line, if you can afford the salary, go for the better talent in Webb/Dice-k. Plus if your team under performs, it will be easy to trade Webb for a serious return in the season!
