20 team H2H keeper. Keep 9, and we're in the 2nd round of the draft Who do I take out of this group? I'm also looking at taking another SP with my next pick. Who should I look for further down the rankings that could be a good fantasy option? Any rookies or dark horses to look for?
Big Unit
Gavin Floyd
Fausto Carmona
Ubaldo Jiménez
Oliver Pérez
John Smoltz
Chris Carpenter
Joe Saunders
Gil Meche
Chris Volstad
Kenshin Kawakami
My only current SP's are Nolasco and Cueto.

These are the 4 I would target.

Why would Johnson, Smoltz and Carpenter even be on this list... and why would someone actually suggest you keep Carpenter and Smoltz?

Out of that list Volstad might be the best option for a keeper. Can't say I'm too crazy about any of them.

Needless to say the options are slim. Correct me if I am wrong but this is the 11th round of a draft, 2nd round after your keepers have been selected. There are two ways to look at this if you are possibly looking for a keeper out of the bunch who could possibly help your team in years to come I would go with Jimenez. But if you are looking to win your league this year I would take a shot with Randy Johnson. If he can stay somewhat healthy and give you 150 innings I doubt anyone will better his numbers.

I think I'd take a chance with the Big Unit, John Smoltz, or Kawakami. Also I think Gavin Floyd is a little overrated my some sources, however he has enough upside and youth to consider him as well.
i'm the guy that puts the "nip" in omnipotent...
