How am I doing so far?

Postby NittanyLions1 » Tue Feb 24, 2009 11:28 pm

14-team head-to-head POINTS (no categories) league. We count everything including holds, quality starts, and -1 for batter KOs. Think I will try and draft 2 of the pitchers I listed below next to try and catch up a bit on that front...a number of teams have gone heavy on pitching in the early part of the draft because its 14 teams and we start 14 of them. Just looking for some feedback on how I'm doing and if you have two favorites out of those pitchers below. THANKS and WHIR!

I'd roll the dice on Kawakami or Carpenter (enough upside there).

Look to snag Anthony Reyes and Andrew MIller late in teh draft.

smotlz should have a pretty good year if hes healthy. your offense is quite beastly, you could try and trade out for a top flight pitcher (santana, lincy, halladay, CC) and go from there.

I'd also target miller late as well, hes got all the talent and is still maturing in the bigs

I would look at Justin Duchcherer from Oakland as 1 of them for sure and Branson Lyon as you need another closer

OK, thanks everyone...looks like we narrowed it down to all the pitchers I listed so far :-D . I actually do like most of the pitchers here. What does everyone think of Bonderman and ASanchez? Seems to me both offer alot of upside if they are finally healthy. They are still really young and I think could be in for good years no? Not saying those are the ones I am picking, but I was considering them along with most of the guys that you already picked out.
