I have the 1st overall pick in a 10 team keeper league?
We start:
1b
2b
ss
3b
of
of
of
util
9sp
we keep 3.
My question is this...Should i go Pujols with the 1st pick. I am thinkgin NOT. I am thinking i should go with H.Ramirez or possibly even J.Reyes.
But my real question is who should i target with my "swing" picks in the 2nd/3rd rd. I want to compete this year, but i also want to set myself up for long-term success....
Your thoughts?

i wouldn't target pujols, 1b is too deep and you can get quality around rounds 3 or 4
if you go hanley first....try and target kinsler if he falls, if not look for morneau or gonzo for 1b or amram or longoria for 3b.
hope it helps, frankly i hate drafting in the beginning or end of drafts...good luck

Others will certainly argue, but I would never pass on Pujols. There is not a more consistent hitter in baseball. And its not like hes old, he's only 29. I'd take Albert and enjoy the .340 35+ 120 season that he always puts up.

good advice. If for some reason Sabathia or Santana fall back to you tho grab one of them. I would prolly go with the best players available if Kinsler and Longoria are gone. Utley may even fall to you if Kinsler is gone snag him. However your next 2 picks then I would think have to be the best SP and closer there. Unless you wait and try and get some lesser closers a little later.
