Looks like a pretty competitive draft. Nice team so far (especially if Johnson looks like his old self), although I probably would have looked for a second RP before choosing Pineiro.

Big mistake on your part: No 2B or C. Both are thin positions and neither are filled.

I'm liking Jimenez alot; I think this could be a break out year for him. Knowing that Soriano is actually 28, this gives him 2 yrs on Jiminez, whose season last season was pretty comparable to Soriano's breakout in 2001, with the exception of SB's. check out the stats:

2001 Soriano- 154 hits, .268, 18 HR's, 77 Runs, 73 RBI, 43 SB
2003 Jimenez- 153 hits, .273, 14 HR, 69 Runs, 57 RBI, 11 SB

With the team you've got assembled around him, I'd say Jiminez would make a fine fantasy guy for you this year. Any thoughts??

Not a mistake at all IMO. Once the good ones at thin positions are taken, why get in a hurry to get an average one?

I was just saying that he should have picked at least a solid second baseman by that point in the draft. You can't throw all your marbles in with Jimenez (although I feel he will do well) and Phillips.

Crawford at #96 is a steal. Abreu at 93? How did he fall that low?!

M. Cabrera at #19? Torii Hunter at #56?

How many years will this keeper league be?

The only pick I don't like is that of Pineiro at #97. You can get him much later than that. There are better options at that spot.

Other than that....you team looks promising so far. Good luck!
