This is my first time playing in a roto league. I wanted to draft a balanced team. Is there anything I should focus on changing? What are your thoughts of my team? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Not a bad team at all, other then Victorino and Phillips you really don't have much in the way of stolen bases, that is the main thing you need to focus on improving, since it is a roto league... your SP and RP is solid, as are most of your position players... good job...
Is this a standard 5x5? Also, how many guys can you put in your starting line up? C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, UTIL?
You seem to have a surplus of 1B.
^Thanks for the sig Soty!^ "When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other..." Ecclesiastes 7:14 ΠKΦ
this is to the guy who said other than victorino and phillips you dont have much more in stolen bases...well wright will probably steal around 15, berkman as well, and kinsler probably around 25...fred lewis is good for 20 and if eric byrnes makes a come back he's good for 30-50...
thats some infield you go there bud, wow. The only thing I could nitpick maybe is the lack of power in the OF ,you got Wells but who knows how long until he is hurt. Byrnes dissapeared last year so he could be an X Factor. Overall very well done.
I agree with the others. You have compiled a great team with a great infield, and great pitching. I would see if you could pawn Wells off on someone else. He is out for about two weeks of the season, and is a liability out there. You could use a little more pop, and you have the first baseman to trade away.
Great team. You have monster power and a good SP/RP balance. Speed as others have said is a little of a weakness but you should finish middle of the pack.
Overall a ton of power, a good balanced team, not many needs.
