I need to trim this list to 5 keepers by Fri. Always WHIR

Postby candyman » Tue Feb 24, 2009 1:07 pm

Here's the deal, I've trimmed my team down to 10 guys and I gt five keepers. Keeping a player costs you your draft pick in the round that the player was last selected in. A FA counts as a 30th rnd selection. If you have multiple players from the same round, one is assessed later round value. Our draft order is set, and I have the lst pick, next to each player I have the pick it would cost to keep them (and what it would be if I kept all players from the same round) Please give me any input you can!

Here is the league scoring:
Weekly, 10 team, H2H Points league; 5 keepers
Very screwy scoring: Singles: 1, Doubles: 2, Triples: 3, HR:4, RBI:1, Runs:1, SB: 3, BB:1, GIDP: -1,
IP: 3 W: 10, K:1, Save: 5, H: -1, L: -5, ER: -2, Blown Saves: -3

2 starters at each position, 4 OF, 1 util , 9 Pitchers...
6 Bench Players
1 DL

Thanks!

1st round options
HanRam (1.10)

4th rounders
Sabathia (3.1/4.10)
Hamels (3.1/4.10)

5th Round
Markakis (4.10) (5.1 if CC and Hamels ar both kept)

7th Rounders
Kemp (7.10)

14th Rounders
Shields (14.1)

15th Rnd
Billingsley (15.10)

Free Agents (If 1 is kept/2 are kept/3 are kept/all are kept)
McLouth (30.1/29.10/28.1/27.10)
Alexei Ramirez (30.1/29.10/28.1/27.10)
Harden (30.1/29.10/28.1/27.10)
Doumit (30.1/29.10/28.1/27.10)

Right now I'm thinking I'll keep

HanRam (1.10)
ARam (30.1)
McLouth (29.10)

I'm open to ALL suggestions though, these 3 aren't locked in stone
An am unsure about the last two slots, but am leaning towards Sabathia and Billingsley, but really not sure at all.

Thank and leave a link!

So you don't think any pitchers? With the unusual scoring format, starting pitching ended up being real important.

You'll have plenty of picks to get arms, take 'em in the 2nd/3rd/4th if you have to, but keep the bats, there a bunch of decent pitchers around this year.

So you'd add them to the 3 I already mentioned? Or would you change the other 3around too?
