I tend to agree with you. It seems like it could be really funny but a lot of it just seems too dumbed down. I think most of that is because the characters are pretty shallow. Except for the cussing, they almost seem like they could be pulled from one of those disney channel shows for teenagers- especially the clueless principle.

By the way, the funniest thing about this show is how Danny McBride cannot throw a baseball to save his life.
He has the worst mechanics of any "Hollywood pitcher" I've ever seen. It's laughable. His father should be castrated for failing to teach his son to not throw like a woman.
Kenny Powers supposedly can hit 100. McBride probably can't throw a ball 50 miles an hour.
