My 10 team points league allows up to 4 keepers (1 from each block of rounds from the previous years draft). Each keeper is selected 2 rounds earlier than they were drafted or kept the previous year. For example: Tim Lincecum was taken in the 8th round so he will be taken in the 6th this year if I keep him. I am in the 4th spot in the draft and I don't think that any of my rounds 1-5 keeper options present any value, so I am leaning towards not keeping anyone from that block. We start 1 player at each position (3 OF, 5 SP, and 2 RP). Here are my options:
Rounds 1-5 (Pick 1) David Wright (1st round 2009 draft if kept) Russell Martin (3rd round 2009 draft if kept) Aramis Ramirez (4th round 2009 draft if kept)
Rounds 6-10 (Pick 1) Tim Lincecum (6th round 2009 draft if kept) Matt Holiday (7th round 2009 draft if kept)
Rounds 11-16 (Pick 1) Chad Billingsley (10th round 2009 draft if kept) Joakim Soria (14th round 2009 draft if kept)
Rounds 17-22(Pick 1) Justin Upton (18th round 2009 draft if kept) Joey Votto (20th round 2009 draft if kept)
don't see why you would not keep wright assuming you give up your 1st round pick to keep him. From the other blocks i'd keep Holliday, Billingsley and Votto.

Yep : Wright/Holliday/Bills/Votto
Agreed. As much as I would like to hold onto Lincecum you cant since you already are holding onto Billingsley.

I'm confused, why can't you keep lincecum and billingsley? I would love to have wright/lincecum/billingsley/votto as keepers under your setup and then draft 4th in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounds.
