Once we figure out this keeper poll we will address that. My thinking is that a FA pick up becomes a 10th round pick the first year, then an 8th round pick the 2nd year or something of that nature. I think the 10th round in this case is too high, maybe the 20th, just ahead of the bench picks.

One league I was in treated a FA as a 15th round pick - so depending on how many years picks at that level can be kept, you might be able to keep him an additional two years or whatever.

You could also set a keeper in following years as a draft choice 2 or 3 spots higher than his original slot. This might address what Oopah suggested about barring keepers from the first few rounds.

10th round is too high though. There should be some reward for good scouting skills. 15th round seems good.

Totally agree here. At least somewhere between 13 and 15. Maybe....14?
