Who should be my #5, Clement or Peavy? I would think Clement but is he going to get skipped every now and then as the #5 in Chicago, that's the question.
SP- Prior
SP- Schilling
SP- Wolf
SP- Miller
SP- Clement
RP- Dotel
RP- Isringhausen
B- Peavy
B- Sheets
B- Ed. Jackson
B- F. Cordero
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I'd take Clement ... And I think Zambrano is the guy who gets skipped. Don't forget that Greg Maddux likes to work on short rest too. I know it made a difference in ATL last year, the tracking sheets kept messing up his starts
It's a tough call, they're both somewhat streaky. Decide from week to week depending on the matchups and who's been playing better lately. Peavy has more potential to take it to the next level this season, which would make him the clear choice if he does.

Clement is definately streaky. But how can you dub a guy who is only 23 and entering his second full season streaky?

I'd take Clement only for the fact that I think the Cubs have a better team then the Pads. Era should be about the same. But Clement will win 3 or4 more. Good Luck

Look at Peavy's game log from last year. Are you saying we can't make any judgments about the seasons of young and inexperienced players? He seemed to have control issues at times. Maybe this year will be different, and I recognized his big upside potential, but who really knows for sure?
