I figure I def. need to pick up a closer, and I am pretty happy with my starters, but what about the position players... I have 80000 CF, is this bad? Should I try to use Griffey as trade bait (if anyone would actually want him)?

any advice would be appreciated... sorry for all the newbie questions

yeah, I figured it looks weak, but any advice other than "it sucks?"

Like I said I am a NEWBIE and any and all help would be appreciated!

I def. think my starting pitching is pretty strong... I have also dropped Vina and Alvarez for Biddle and Koch (I realized I did not have a single closer)...

as for hitting should I try to get a biiig bat, or can I ride out with my fairly average players? I still would like to ship off griffey, but dunno yet..

I understand it isnt a good team... this is a learning experience for me, so I am not looking to win my league.

your right man, your team is terrible. im guessin u took halladay 1st, no idea who you took second. gen rule of thumb, dont waste your 1st 2 picks on pitchers, and youll see why during the season, cuz new ones always pop up. anyways, you need some hitting, BIG TIME. keep griff, no one will trade for him and hes a high risk high rewards kind of guy anyways. im not quite sure how to fix this offensive mess to be honest with you, your probly gonna have to trade some pitching. your infield is a disgrace, though ensberg is solid. i dont think there is a single guy in there that some one would trade u anything decent for.try starting with small upgrades and moving your way up..(ie try and get huff to replace hillenbrand, or giles/castillo to replace anderson --dont even get me started on how you ended up with him.) good luck dude, probly gonna need it, but youll learn alot this year
