1. Ryan Braun (Mil - OF)
2. Mark Teixeira (NYY - 1B)
3. Jason Bay (Bos - OF)
4. Kevin Youkilis (Bos - 1B,3B)
5. Josh Beckett (Bos - SP)
6. Shane Victorino (Phi - OF)
7. Ervin Santana (LAA - SP)
8. A.J. Burnett (NYY - SP)
9. J.J. Hardy (Mil - SS)
10. Kerry Wood (Cle - RP)
11. Zack Greinke (KC - SP)
12. ????

i picked jose lopez, but pitchers like cain, lowe, wainwright, nolasco, dempster, scherzer were available at the time.

mike aviles, kaz matsui were still left at 2B

should i have grabbed another arm at that point?

tough to say without knowing everything out there, but I think there was more value at pitching based on names you mentioned.

Cain/Wainwright/Nolasco are all probably a better pick at this point. But its hard to say without knowing the other teams rosters.

quit letting your emotions get in the way during the draft and quit leaning towards boston players. 2nd....i like lopez and i would have done the same. after him there was a sharp drop off on 2nd base.

Only 6 offensive players with your 1st 10 picks, gonna have a weak hitting team I'd guess. Your mistake came way before Lopez in the 12th.
