12 team keeper league (keep 7 plus 1 rook. and 1 minor). I have made 2 offseason trades to get my current roster (that is why there are more players.) Only Nathan is being kept out of all closers- I will have the 15th pick in the draft as I have no 1st rounder. Do I keep B. Roberts or Paps/KRod all of whom are on my roster. Roberts would definiately be the best 2nd baseman available as Utley, Kinsler, Pedroia, Uggla, Phillips, Cano, A. Ramierez, etc.. will be kept. My thought is Roberts gets eaten up early, but a closer, such as Paps or KRod, may fall to the 15th- or guys like Lidge will be there, as other teams have many more needs and all I need to fill out are my arms. The drop off to 2nd base is probably going to be Kendrick. Scoring is straight Head to Head total points for the weeks- closers get 3 points per inning, 1 point per k, and 6 for the save.
Current lineup (with Roberts):
Berkman Roberts Reyes Zimmerman R. Howard Beltran B.J. Upton Soriano Doumit
definitely keep roberts, hes more valuable than the two closers and it sounds like the drop off after roberts in the draft is just huge while you might be able to grab a top tier closer with your first pick.
No brainer...keep roberts. all the good 2nd baseman will be kept (utley, kinsler, pedroia, ramirez, phillips). I would put roberts in with those as the top 6. After that it thins out with a lot of question marks (cano, uggla, kendrick).
I agree. It will be tough letting two closer studs like Pap and KRod go, but Roberts brings more to the table and you may be able to get one of them back in the drafting process. So keep Roberts.

I don't agree that the drop-off after Roberts is huge, but he is still the choice because the overall depth of the second base position is awful this year.
