I would love to hear more opinions on who is a better pick. My roster already has Berkman as a 1b. (1 of 4 keepers)and no OF

That all depends. How many teams? What type of league? What does your WHOLE roster look like? What are the categories?
Tell me this info and I will be able to help you...

12 team h2h. 4 keepers
My keepers are:
Santana
Peavy
Longoria
Berkman
I have the first pick overall. Can get Fielder, Carlos Lee, Ichiro...
I take Ichiro out of the mix.

fielder in a heartbeat. Lee has been iffy for the past few years adn Prince is the man, showing up to camp in better shape

First...thank you for your response on my topic..
I would go with Fielder here. Better shape, and will be the big bopper on the Brew Crew this season, you can't go wrong there..Outfielders can be found further in the draft. Go with the best player with the number 1 slot. That sounds like Prince to me.
Good luck...

Ok, I would also go Fielder, if Berkman has OF eligibility in your league. He has shown up to camp thinner and in better shape, and has always been able to mash. I am also very high on Lee though.
Good luck this year...

if you have a dh spot go with fielder (also gives you trade potential later at 1b)
You can get good later round of's (pence, mildege, upton, etc). 1b thins out quickly.
You would also hurt the rest of the guys in your league by taking 2 of the strong 1b early.
thanks for your help
