Yeah I'm the say way. It's hard to be grinding out a 1/2 table at a B&M then come back home to the micros. I moved up to 1/2 online and it still didn't feel the same as live. Online I'm more of a sit-n-go player but I do mix it up in ring games, although I don't multi-table much. I'll agree with Snakes that yeah it does get a little boring when your cards go cold but it's nothing that my mp3 player can't solve unless I'm getting really tired, at which point I really shouldn't be playing anyway.

Unfortunately, I live 3+ hours from AC so if I make it down there 2-3 times a year it has been a good year. So when I do get to go, it usually involves throwing my bags in my room and rushing down to the poker room for several hours until dinner. Then it's dinner, drinks and partying followed by noon time or so start the following day and a solid afternoon of cards. Then it is usually time to head back home...so when I do make it to AC, I soak in as much cards as possible because it's a pretty rare occurrence for me.
With flights so cheap and hotel stays basically free, I've made it out to Vegas a few times as well. But those trips are more about relaxing, socializing and just getting away for a few days that I generally don't find myself playing that much cards.
I've been jonesing for a good card session for weeks now.

I'll have to look into it. I usually go with several friends so we just hop in a car or two and make the trip down. Half the battle is getting there, the other half is getting a group of people free on the same weekend.

Kidnapping usually works but whatever floats your boat.
I'm hitting Vegas for the first time this July actually for a bowling tourney but I'm pretty sure I'll be at the tables for a good chunk of the trip, provided I don't melt in the "dry" heat. Foxwoods is also on my to-do list.

But I'll echo what others have said in this thread - while I'd love to start playing online again, nothing beats a 10 hour session at a B&M casino.
the super user accounts were on ultimate bet and absolute poker, i dont remember tilt having that problem. and about the B&M casinos... i'd probably kill myself after about 2 hours of trying to play seriously. live poker is so ridiculously boring it's insane.
Yes, I did get UB and Tilt mixed up.

When I go to the casino, I'm playing at least 1-2 NL with a $300 buy in instead of .10/.25 NL with a $25 buy in. So when I win several hundred bucks in a day at the B&M, it's exciting to me...
i've never played on-line, but i enjoy playing at the B&M's when i can. usually it is when i'm drunk after a Tigers game which may or may not lead to me trash talking to the table. i really have no idea how i didnt get booted one time...i think we started drinking about 3 PM before the game, we left the casino at about 3 AM (probably got there around 11 or midnight). from what i remember i was pretty much being an a-hole, not paying attention to the action needed help stacking my chips at the end of the night but somehow won about $300
