eligibility question...

Postby Real Deal » Sun Feb 22, 2009 10:44 am

what is the typical eligibility requirement for position players?

our league is currently set at 20 games last year and 5 games this year to become eligible at a position.

this seems like a lot of games for the previous year.

Most high stakes private money leagues, and the NFBC high stakes money leagues use 20/5, it makes you use/draft a player at his real/most used position: eg: David Ortiz is not a 1st baseman, and rewards true multiple position players for being just that, not a 143/14 like MCab who won't get near 3rd base this yr.
