My 2nd sig ever...

I'm just using Gimp 2.0 and I haven't really been able to experiment much with the layering effects...I think I have the cutting and pasting down pretty well at least, and I managed to write some text to a curved path, but uhh...I'm a n00b.

So how bad/mediocre is it?



Any specific ideas on improving it?

The text is a bit dark and blends into the background a little bit too much.

Also the right hand Evan prob needs to contrast against the background more.

Otherwise good.

try some text effects out just to see how they look and what looks good. stuff like glows, shadows, and strokes. also try making more layers of your renders and eff around with different types... stuff like overlay and soft/hard light. (i'm not sure what this is called in gimp). lighting effects on the renders would probably help too. i recommend looking for some gimp tutorials and watching them to try to get some new ideas and get a feel of the program and what it's capable of.
