12 games in and seems to be stalling a bit... I was hoping to see a bit more power out of him this year but nothing yet...

yeah whats the deal with this lack of power? he is hitting well but i was expecting a couple HR's by now. Is it just me or does this draft not seem to be nearly deep as some recent ones?

Ackley is not a home run hitter. Don't think of him as typical first basemen, because once his elbow is healed completely he will probably move back to center field.

He's in the arguement, though so are a few others....Ackley can hit the snot out of the ball but he doesn't appear to have the power or speed to be a fantasy force, IMHO. I'm really liking Rich Poythress, 1B, Georgia. This is a big guy with power and contains the contact rate and plate discipline to be in the mold of a Alonso, Smoak, Wallace type. There are also a couple HS guys and a handful of pitchers that could be in the mix. In other words there really isn't a clear #2, IMHO.
