I think most savvy owners are looking at his MDP and drooling.

Exactly.

Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?

Through 8 mocks so far (10 teams 21 spots)...I have been able to grab him in the 19th round or lower in all but one. In that one...not sure WTH I was thinking...but I took him in the 16th round. I have no problem throwing him in as my starting 2nd bagger with that late of a pick...and hope it works out. If not...grab the next best on free agency.

Like a few have insinuated though, he's much more of a value pick this year than in the past. This year, it's pretty conceivable to have him as your backup, which is nice...

For what it is worth he stayed healthy last year and his defense improved to only below average instead of worst in league. In April he was hitting lasers right at people and couldn't buy a hit. In May he was popping everything up or driving it into the ground, pressing because of the slow April I assume. From Mid June on he was hitting the ball pretty well. What Weeks really needs is to just get off to a fast start for once. He is turning into a 2nd half type of player.
I think he is a great value this year but it might be wise to draft an additional 2B as well. Also keep in mind he hits lefties better than righties so you can always cycle him in for a platoon type situation during his cold streaks if you are daily lineups with an ok sized bench.
