Kinsler?

Postby TheBull » Sat Feb 21, 2009 6:24 pm

I have the 10th pick in a 10 team league. Should i take a gamble on Kinsler at 10 or 11. No way he makes it back to me.

Thoughts?

No. Grab a couple of thunderous sticks then grab a 2nd baseman later.

2b is a lot deeper than people think, just wait you can land Phillips or someone like that in the 6/7 round

I'd pass on Kinsler there and go with some of the big power hitters mentioned above.

I've picked up Dan Uggla in the 6th round, which I think is a steal. I would try to land one of Alexei, Uggla, Phillips, or even Brian Roberts in a later round and go with the elite power bats early.

I'd say no. Does the league favor pitching or hitting? I'd want a big pitcher and a big hitter with those back-to-back picks just so I had something to bolster the roster on both ends. Maybe like Peavy and Teixeira.

Standard yahoo league I would say no. My opinion might be swayed though if you're in a league with 2b/ss/MI.

That said, I would probably go with two big bashers, or if you want, Johan is probably available in that spot in most every league.

I am not on the Kinsler band wagon. I cant believe how early he is going. No way I take him in the first 2 even 3 rounds
