Im in a 12 team 4 keeper head to head league.
My current situation is keeping Santana, Peavy, Longo and Berkman.
I have the first pick and I will take Fielder with that.
Braun has been offered to me for that first pick.
So do I go with My current 4 plus Fielder or take braun?
Then i will need to drop one of my current four in order to keep him. Do I drop Berkman? Peavy??

Take the deal, let Peavy go.

I think it is really important to know who else your potential trade partner has on his roster. Is he planning on not keeping Braun? Sounds like that might be the case. If he has 4 other stud players, then keep your keepers, and your pick.
Who are this guy's top 4 players besides Braun?

Braun is one of his 4 keepers. If he trades him to me he goes back to his team and keeps Soto. Other 3 keepers for him are CC, Arod and Cabrera

So the way I see it Peavy and Fielder for Braun. I do not like this deal unless you get his 1st round pick in return.

I should also let you guys know that I still have a 1st round pick (10th overall) the first pic that I would be trading was his pick that he traded me. He wants it back now.

Can't get Braun 10th overall. I stand by my previous advice.

This is the proper analysis. What type of players will be available with your next pick if you make this trade? I think thats how you have to look at. It's Fielder and Peavy for Braun and (insert your next pick here). Look at the trade that way and then make the move.

I think you do the deal, but you need to work your butt off to try to get some value out of Peavy. If you don't get some sort of a draft pick out of him, you are just cutting value.
This is a doable trade, but it makes a second trade necessary.
