Anybody else here getting giddy over the release of MVP 2004? I can't wait. All the features look great, and I've watched all the videos on EA.com a few times each. Looks awesome..........isn't it March 9th yet? Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well if it's for XBox Live (which I'm pretty sure it is) we can play each other that way, instead of getting the PC version. I'm not sure how many of you guys have Xbox though, some probably have PS2.
Until I get MVP, I'm stuck playing Inside Pitch 2003 - rated one of the worst baseball games on XBox

wow.. this is the first time i have ever been in general talk and i came here with the intention of posting about this game. Ironic. But yea, I cant wait. One of the small details that i like is that when u hit the ball, it actually shows u hitting the ball!! sum1 said they were getting all-star, i wouldnt recommned it. I got fed up with the last 2 versions and MVP looks very fresh. The hitting is actually more realistic where u dont line up a cursor which can become impossible on All-Star

I hate lining up a cursor to hit the ball. The new hitting system looks great. If you time it right, you hit it. If you aim right, you hit it well. Seems a lot like Inside Pitch 2003........but I'm sure it'll be much better.
Can't wait
