You work for the Silver Hawks?! I tend to go to quite a few of their games a year!

I can remember watching him play many a times. The ball did have that 'diiferent' sound coming off of that kid's bat! I was impressed with his raw skills, but, at the time, felt his attitude would hold him back. He appears to have matured both on and off of the field. Good for him, especially after having to live here, in South Bend for awhile.

Great article, BTW. My gut feeling based on watching him here wasn't very good, maybe I need to re-think this.

On a side note, are there any youngsters that should be watched slated to play in South Bend this year? I have never been much of a minor league evaluator, and of course most guys we see here do not go too much further. I would love to get a Cafe Veteran's opinion on one to watch!

What round would you consider drafting Justin Upton in an NL only keeper league? I kept Russel Martin over him. What about an NL only redraft? Both have 12 teams.

I drafted Justin Upton last year in a 10 team keeper league. I have the option of keeping him with my 18th round pick, but I can only keep 3 players and I also have some other good options.

Josh Hamilton with my 22nd round pick
Adrian Gonzalez with my 12th round pick
Roy Oswalt with my 7th round pick
Manny Ramirez with my 3rd round pick

I'm definitely keeping Hamilton and Gonzalez, and was leaning toward Oswalt as my third since some other good pitcher are being kept, plus there is a lot of talk about from other owners about a lot of pitching going in the first few rounds.

What do you think? Which 3 would you keep?

Some good options, but I would probably rather have Manny Ramirez and whatever pitcher is available in the seventh than Oswalt and a hitter in the third. Upton is a pretty solid keeper for the price, but I think you've got to stick with the better player in this scenario.
