12 team league --- Went into this draft with potential and upside in mind. I was getting ribbed through much of the draft, and Im wondering how badly i deserved it. Just an overall assessment of how I did would be wonderful, and as always, I will help out in return - just leave a link.

Thank you!

P.S. - I know theres a lack of steals, currently working on a trade to move Carlos Lee for a speedy outfielder.

I dunno - I guess I'm confused by your comments - this team looks pretty good to me.

Utley, A-Rod and Doumit is a great core, Atkins and Young are solid.

I'm not thrilled by your OF/Utility; Bradley's a huge risk in the NL, and you have to hope that Werth is going to get regular PT. Nady does nothing for me and neither do either of the Lopez's - pretty much WW fodder there. Not the end of the world though as it gives you some flexibility to make WW pickups.

Pitching-wise you're pretty solid. Hamels and Gallardo are bona-fide; with a little luck Zambrano will put up some good numbers too (although I'm a bit skeptical this yr).

Lowe is bor-ing but solid; you got your "upside" with Cueto - who I'm personally going after in my draft - I think he's fantastic. Smoltz/Samardzija - who knows. You have to hope Smoltz will at least help your ratios - anything more would be a bonus. I don't think Samardzija is going to have much of an impact and you'll likely end up dropping him eventually.

Your closers are absolutely rock solid- no worries there.

I think this team could compete for a championship - but you're going to have to work it all year. Also - you're going to need some luck - there are a few question marks here:

Can Utley can come back seamlessly from his injury?
What affect will the steroid issue have on A-Roid? Will he be suspended or slump?
Can Doumit stay healthy for an entire season? Before last year he couldn't stay on the field for longer than 2 weeks at a time.
What are you going to do WHEN Bradley breaks down? You need to improve your bench power fer sure.
As you've identified - you need speed. Sure - trade Lee if you can get something back decent in return.

Why did you take a ribbing? The one player you may want to try and trade is Bradley. Injury will probably happen and no DH this year.

I have to agree with the others. Solid team, and thin in the OF and Util spots. I would defiantly look to move Bradley. I drafted him in my league and have not made the trade yet, but my OF is strong and I have a ton of bench. Other than that i would say your only weak spots are third OF i dont mind worth and nady, util and bench. Just look for guys in FA and on WW.
