I would lock up Kemp with your first selection. Its only a matter of time until Manny signs and once that happens Kemp will be a meal ticket for anyone lucky enough to have him. Phillips would have been a nice addition but the fact you have Utley drops him down a notch or two, IMO. I also could not argue a Aramis Ramirez selection, rock steady. For me there are two position players to look at here, IMO:
Kemp Ramirez
As far as pitchers Haren would be the pick. I have him in two keepers, a workhorse who will not let you down.
The fact that this is a keeper league points me in one direction Kemp.
I would go with Granderson and then Kemp if he is taken. Great potential across the board and that line up should be very potent with him leading the way. 130 runs is very possible with him.

Why Aram? There are about 9 guys i would take over him.
I agree here. Since this is a keeper and this team is probably not contending for the title this year, the owner should be on a 2-3 year plan. There are two places you can finish in a league. First, and Not First. ARam might outperform Kemp this year, but he is past his '04-'06 prime it appears, and will be 32 by 2010 when the owner in question might have his first shot at winning the league.
Do you start a MI, CI, or a Utility player or is it just standard? If you can start Phillips I might target him. It never hurts having both him and Utley. After that I like A-Ram, I think he'll put up great numbers this year. After that a toss up between Kemp and A-Gonz, the Granderson.
