Matt Holliday and pitcher of my choice for Johan? WHIR!!!

I am in a head to head ten team keeper league on Yahoo! which uses these stats R, H, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, W, CG, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB.

My current roster going into the draft:

Another owner owner has a standing offer to trade me Matt Holliday and a pitcher of my choice from his team for Johan Santana from my team. Should I do the deal, and if yes, which pitcher should I take?

His pitchers before the draft:
SP Ben Sheets
SP Chad Billingsley
SP A.J. Burnett
RP Joakim Soria
RP Bobby Jenks
SP/RP Joba Chamberlain
RP Brian Fuentes

I was thinking that getting Billingsley and Holliday would be enough to offset the loss of Johan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Billingsley and Holliday for Johan. No hesitation, I'll take that deal.

Agreed. Take Billingsly and Holliday....no question. You will be coming out ahead. Outfield isn't as deep as in recent years so getting Holliday is a very good thing in 2009. Plus, Billingsly is a solid strikeout pitcher so you won't be losing much in the 'K' department.

Absolutely on Billingsley and Holliday -- Bills has awesome K upside and Holliday will be a productive force in the AL West. Let's not forget the somewhat fragile nature of Santana as well.

yep my exact thoughts, BILLS and Holliday and you're winning that deal. I could even see a plea for soria and holliday, but billingsley should be your first choice.

Although I don't think you need more reinforcement, take Billingsley and run with it! It will give you a solid foundation in the OF for a while, and Billingsley is only going to get better. He helps out in many categories and he's still very young. Go for it!!
