There's a lot of talk that Price may start in AAA, the Rays want to give him more time to develop. I am quite familiar with CBS H2H points leagues, Ellsbury loses some value in a league like this as I find big power hitters and RBI producers are the way to go in these leagues. Also with the weekly line-ups 2-start pitchers are a must. I usually get one or two nice high strike out pitchers (without focusing much on ERA or WHIP) a couple of solid closers, and then continue to focus on offense. Then I stream 2-starters all season long. It's a cheap way to win but it's very effective, and if you don't do you it you will probably lose the league. Even though you focused on pitching a little earlier than I would of, you still have a great offense and even Ellsbury will find a way to be productive as part of a potent Red Sox line up. Overall a very nice team.

I like your team overall. As may be know of me by now, I like to roll with at least three closer's, so keep an eye out for some sleeper RPs. You have some droppable bench pitchers to fill out your rotation once ST and the season starts.

In this format, Yes. Even if it means DeRosa become an everyday guy on your team. CBS grants 10 points for a save, so you want a couple of solid closers. I also noticed you have Weiters, he'll be lucky to play 70 games this season. get rid of him and pick up Laird or Hundley or someone like that. Hundley's BA won't sting so much in these leagues.

Thank you for the info on the scoring, I saw they changed the roster requirements and never thought to double check the actual scoring. Man, is CBS even going down the toilet. I'd still do that deal though.

I agree, Wieters' value is sky high right now! I'm would not be happy spending that high of a pick for him for a partial season, that could be even less partial. I would bet you would have at least 2 or 3 managers in your league that are pissed you grabbed him, and would overspend.
