Three is plenty for me; 2 rotos and 1 H2H, can't wait for draft day(s) and opening day.

I used to do 2 roto auction leagues that took 6-7 hours to complete the auction which drove me nuts plus they were at TQ which had problems. So I switched to 3 HTH draft leagues and that was probably too much. So right now I am in one roto re-draft at ESPN with guys I have gotten to know and am probably going to join one more if I find a HTH that is intriguing.

This is the first year I'm cutting it down to 2. Last year I did 3 and it was manageable but inevitably I kinda ignored 1. We'll see how things go this year.

Here's the follow-up question:
Does participating in multiple leagues influence the way you draft players? Are you more likely to wind up with the same players on multiple teams or do you find yourself reluctant to attach yourself to the risk of a single ballplayer disappointing across several of your teams?

I try to mix it up if I have a choice between 2 equal players in a draft. But inevitably there are players that you like more than others and you end with them in multiple leagues.

I've never done more than one league. I wouldn't like the conflicting interests of each leagues (example: a Ryan Howard might be great for League 1 team, but if my opponent has him in League 2, it's bittersweet!), and I also think that it would be too much work for me. I like to throw my energy into one league.

I maxed out at 7 leagues a few years ago, and have been playing less each year, and hope to settle in this year at 2 leagues.
I like knowing my rosters by heart, who's available in each league, who may be willing to deal, etc. With too many leagues pretty much everybody I wanted to target is on one team or the other so I have no special attachment to any players.
