just curious to see what the average number of leagues people are playing here. last year i played in whopping 5 leagues. it was too much, it became a chore and i lost interest at times (luckily i did manage to get finish in the money in all 5 leagues and took 2 first places ). this year i cut it down to 3, hope that's the magic number. a big reason why i always get tempted to play in more leagues is i feel like all the work i do for the draft is gone to waste if i don't put it to use for more leagues.
I'm down with 2 every year but the free league that consists of local rock n roll musicians was too tempting. I will remind them to stick to music this year.
It's always tempting to play more leagues. This year I'm at 3 trying to resist the temptation to join a 4th. But I try to mix it up and keep it fresh by playing in different formats. And I especially like getting into the bigger leagues so that I can research more players.

Same for me - my longtime dynasty looked like it was going to fall through, but was then miraculously reinstated with full participation...Then I forgot about the Cafeholics leagues, and before I knew it, I had three leagues again
I normally do 4 or so. Only did 3 last year and that was pretty good. Looking at doing 5 this year, and wondering if that might be a little much. And I'm commish in two of them.
4 is more than enough for me, Gonna do my usual keeper I've been in for 4 or 5 years, Got a new keeper league starting up, Gonna do one yahoo public for kicks and am trying to get a few local buddies to do a live draft for espn.
