OK, so there has been a change. I traded Yovani Gallardo and Hanley Ramirez for Ryan Braun and Ryan Howard.
And now, someone has offered me Wright and Soriano for Bruan and Howard after he refused Wright for Braun straight up. What are your thoughts? I would rather have Braun and Howard, but I do need 3B. Thanks
Or Braun for A-Rod might be an option too. Obviously, this is a good trade for me, but since its a keeper, I like the fact that Braun is 8 years younger (this is a long-term keeper league). What are your thoughts?
Let me get this straight, you offered Wright for Braun straight up in a keeper league and he came back with Wright and Soriano for Braun and Howard?
What the hell is he thinking? He had the upper hand with your offer and he turned around and gave it right back to you. Howard is far more valuable than Soriano especially in a keeper. I think you should accept before the cough syrup wears off.
I think in the first deal you came out a little ahead, but unbalanced. You really didn't need Braun and Howard. This deal is a little skewed against you IMO, but when all is said and done, you will have traded Hanley and Gallardo for Wright and Soriano? And now you've got a sweet lineup.
So see if you can swing someone better(younger) than Soriano, but getting Wright at third would be spectacular. I think even the deal as is makes you a better team.
Update: I did Braun for A-rod. Now somebody has offered me CC for my Prince, should I do this trade? I kind of need pitching, but I love Prince, thoughts?
