I don't see him moving to another position so what does this mean for Gordon?

I couldn't hazard a credible guess for this fellow--no one really could, but his upside is very high. It's not out of the question that he'll hit 300, get 30 homers in a year, and have 100 RBIs at some point. But I can't back that up at all--it's just that the scouting reports are good still.

There's some rumor the Royals might try him at catcher, and that would make him Wieters (high end) or Posey (low). That's the best case scenario.

I'm not terribly worried about his being blocked or positionless yet: there's a lot that can happen before he'll be ready. He's what, 20? It might be two more full years in the minors, and that's a lifetime for an MLB 40 man roster. For all we know, they trade him for another player (a la Young for Garza) or he goes for a stretch run drive (a la the suddenly unblocked LaPorta).
