You have a great IF and Pitchers. Your OF is weak (Ellsbury, Wells, Dickerson/Jones/Snider). You will need to make a move to pick up a power OF. You also have to join the Wieters watch as some have projected him to join the team as late as June (only to save the club $$). You may have add an additional C to your roster just in case.

I would say you drafted very well and have a contending team. However, you will need to make a move or two (OF) to be a serious contender.

Good draft, however I would look to move a SP to upgrade your OF.

Great pitching, but your offense looks lightweight on paper. I'm guessing that this is a keeper/dynasty with where you had taken Wieters and Snider. If I were you, I'd shop either Webb or Halladay for a top slugging OF (I'd aim for Quentin, Bay, Kemp).

Actually is a redraft. Didn't hear reports of Weiters starting in AAA until after the draft, which sucks but should beable to grab something of WW to fill in. As for an offer I put a proposal out to team called Yanks Fan (he doesn't have a great rotation):

Give - C Billingsley/ P Hughes

Get - R Ludwick/ D Lowe

Not sure if'll he take but a starting point.

BTW thanks for the info so far.

He actually just came back with a counter:

Get - Ludwick/John Lester

Give - Webb

Any thoughts please? Ludwick had a great season last year - 37HR, 113RBI, .299 AVG and 104 runs scored. thanks again

*add on*
his roster

B. Molina/M. Teixeira/K. Johnson/A. Ramirez/D. Jeter/R. Ludwick/T. Hunter/X. Nady
D. Ortiz/J. Cantu/M. Napoli/M. Reynolds/N. Swisher/M. Lowell

C.C. Sabathia/J. Lester/D. Lowe/A. Cook/M. Buehrle/F. Rodriguez/G. Sherrill

If this is a H2H league I would take the deal. Elite starting pitching is overrated in H2H leagues.

Do not take the deal. You can get more for webb than that deal. Look at the Artful Dodgers comments on which grade of OF to target. Webb can command the likes of Quentin, Bay or Kemp. Ludwick played insane last year. Do you expect him to repeat that? I don't. Keep shopping around until you get a better trade offer than that.

I don't think I mind the reach on Wieters, but Travis Snider could've been had for a late-round pick and you would've gotten a more productive player in terms of this year for that round, I think.

As for both trades, I'm lukewarm on either. With the most recent trade, I'd hang onto Webb. I see Ludwick continuing to be a 30 HR hitter, but he's not likely to pan out as a .300 hitter (more like .270 at best). Don't overpay for him. Jon Lester looks like a good #2 and perhaps an able replacement for Webb, but the innings jump from missing out much of the prior year is enough of a concern to turn down the deal.
