Draft suggestions for keeper list

5x5, $260 cap, NL-only keeper league. 15-20% inflation, tending towards hitting much more than pitching.

Keeper roster (maxed out at 15):
1B: Casey $10
2B: Vidro $17
SS: Aurilia $10
MI: Cabrera $8
3B: Pujols $10
OF: Patterson $10
OF: ASanchez $5
SP: Prior $10
SP: Beckett $10
SP: Vazquez $10
SP: Armas Jr. $7
SP: Benson $3
RP: Mantei $1
RP: Spooneybarger $1
Reserve: Jason Lane, if he doesn't make the team.
Total spent: $112 (70 hitting, 42 pitching)

What areas should I concentrate on in the draft? My thoughts: Go for a few big boppers, one more steal guy (probably Furcal), a sure-fire closer (mine are a maybe in Mantei and a possible vulture in Spooney), and another vulture-type (Kline, Remlinger/Farnsworth).

Am I OK closing off my MI positions with who I have? Is Casey worth keeping at $10?

Your MI is top-of-the-line, and Pujols at 3B is great as well.

Is Casey really worth just as much as Mark Proir? Hard to believe.

Your intuitions on what to pick up sound right - really concentrate on getting some heavy hitters in your outfield. There's a much better chance of Armas Jr., Vazquez, and Beckett breaking out than Patterson and Sanchez. Another closer would be nice.

2b,3b,ss,and starting pitching are your toughest areas currently.Casey isn't bad,but you might want to look for a better option. I would suggest trying to improve 1b,Of, Mi, and Rp in your draft.
