Is there any way that you could give a small tutorial on how to do this? I'm trying to figure out how I can match names from different sources. I think once I get that list I should be able to figure out how to average the values.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm definitely an excel newbie (if not simply idiot) so maybe I'm asking too much. But how would I use that in an actual spreadsheet? I see how I might be able to use that to figure out one player's average runs. But how would one create a sheet so that all of a players stats are averaged and each player is counted? For example, right now one of my projections has individual cells for first and last name and others combine them, so I'm confused how I would match people up without averaging 10 Gonzalez's runs. Also doing this name by name seems insanely laborious and you said it was reasonably easy so I'm assuming you have it set up to average everybody's stats once the names are straightened out.

Not sure if you're willing to share it but maybe you'd be willing upload the actual spreadsheet that you used to find each player's average? That would be a ton of help, although I understand if it's private.
