Wow, great site!
I have an offer on the table in my AL Only league and need outside opinions.
Here's a recap of this keeper league.

5x5 H2H
$300 bank, can keep as many as you want
Built this team over the last few years by drafting young and taking my lumps, as I took over a team that was in shambles.
But now, I have lots of good young talent and feel this is my year.

Our draft is mid march and we have out keepers due on March 1st. As you can see, I'm going into the draft needing three of and two util spots. Big names that will be available are m cab, vlad, teixeira, holliday, doc halladay, ichiro, crawford, Jeter and M.Young...

My Team prior to draft
C-Navarro $2
1b-Huff $8
2b-Kinsler $12
ss-Peralta $8
3b-Longoria $12

sp-sabathia-$33
sp-felix $27
sp-liriano-$27
sp-kazmir $8
sp-price $8
p-porcello-$2

The league is desperately trying for my pitching and I need outfielders.
But ok...I was offered Granderson($3) and Nelson Cruz($8) for MY Felix and Peralta.

I have lots of great pitchers that I feel I can afford to lose one but I hate losing Peralta at that price, which means I'll have to spend a ton for Young or Jeter at SS. I know it will save me bank for the draft, but I'm torn and need help! Granderson at that price is just sooo hard to pass up...right?

Help! Thanks guys.

Welcome to the cafe!

you have to make this trade. granderson for $3 is just too good to pass up and felix at $27 is pretty expensive. losing peralta at $8 kinda sucks, but it's not that much of a downgrade to cruz at $8, he could put up a monster year in texas if builds off of last season. I'd take granderson and cruz over felix and peralta even ignoring the $24 you would save, so you definitely have to do this.

Yes, I agree. Gotta get Granderson for $3.

Yeah, you have to take Granderson for $3. Instead of paying big for Young (will eventually lose SS eligibility as the rangers are moving him to 3B) or Jeter, maybe look to see if JJ Hardy, is available. If not, Escobar or Bobby Crosby will probably be cheap and while not as good as Peralta, they would save you cash to go after the big names like mcab and tex.
