any projections? Will he play in sd, will he be traded? What will his numbers be like now and for the future?

No way the Padres trade the Big Fella(6'6, 270 lb). With ownership in transition and them having declared that this season is basically about rebuilding, I would have to think that the guy to be traded is Adrian Gonzalez, who is pretty cheap and has ridiculous numbers away from Petco. I used to think Blanks could man LF, but in the mountainous OF in Petco it kind of rules him out for a position switch, especially given that the Padres CF prospects are not great shakes, at least defensively. However, if he continues ot mash in AAA thi syear, he will be called up this year at some point ....but again, no way they trade him.
