How many saves does Arredondo have?

Oh sorry, ye that knows all. The answer is zero. That doesn't mean that Arredondo isn't better than Shields right now, which he is. Arredondo is short on experience but that is all. His stuff is dominant. His K rate is lower than Fuentes but his other peripherals are comparable if not better than Fuentes'. Again, Fuentes clearly has more experience. There are quite a few teams that would love to have Arredondo closing for them.
Not to post something that belongs in the game commentary section, but Soriano is up in the bullpen with MGonz struggling in the 9th. Wasn't a save opp coming in but it would be for Soriano now if he comes in.

How short of a leash is Gonazlez on anyways?
I don't think it is short at all but Soriano might be used here and there against righties I think. Soriano being up shows me 1. apparently Cox is ready to pull Gonzo if he thinks he is off and 2. Soriano is apparently ready to go.

Well, he gave himself a save opp and his leash is very long.

I guess you're right. I thought when the tying run was at bat he did. Oh well.
