Fuentes blew save last night vs. S.D. Gave up a home run to Nick Hundley. I was going to drop Arredondo but I think I will wait it out a little longer. I don't trust Fuentes at all. His velocity is still down. I can't imagine Scioscia will go with him if he keeps giving up runs, seeing that the Angels are used to K-Rod in the ninth! It may take a while but if Fuentes continues to struggle, I could see a change.

Seeing as how Ziegler overtook Streets last year, I'm not sure that's 100% true.
I have a feeling Streets doesn't last long in Coors.

So because Ziegler took over from somebody who was struggling with a groin injury he is a lock? :-?

Everyone has to face reality when it come to Ziegler. He a lucky ground baller who will turn back into a pumpkin very shortly, so take it as given that he is on your team temporarily. ;-D

Does anyone know of a complete list of closers? I just got out waived for Qualls and I only have Motte and Villaneuva.

Thanks

What about the more veteran Shields? Havok could your next poll be about who we think will have the most saves this year and then list some of these set-up guys like Casilla, Soriano, Arrendondo, Shields, Marmol, Balfour, Franklin, Corpas, Saito, Kuo, Villaneuva.

By the way, I'd take Corpas over Casilla for sure. We don't even know if Casilla is the next guy after Ziegler whereas Corpas is quite obviously RIGHT behind Street. And I'd say the chances of Street losing it or being traded are atleast close to the chance Ziegler loses his role.

I think Scot Shields will get the call not Arredendo.
