Another BS by Gregg. Marmol isn't exactly lights out, but I suppose he's next in line.

I think it'd be Meyer as well. He's been lights out all year. I don't know how long they can keep sending Lindstrom out there with a slim lead. He's been pretty shaky all year. I'm gonna grab Nunez now, and hope his injury isn't serious. I think Lindstrom's time closing is about done.

Marmol has blown as many saves this year as Gregg. They both have similar ratios. At this point, this post is worthless. No way are the Cubs even remotely close to changing their closer. Before tonight, Gregg had given up just 5 hits and 0 runs in his past 11 innings pitched.
Gregg was also pitching for the 5th time in the past 6 days tonight. That could have been a factor.

I'm starting to believe that this whole lefty matchup is bs. The whole Yankee lineup is lefty. He faced 1 lefty and 2 switch hitters in the 8th, while Soriano faced 1 righty and 2 lefties in the 9th.
I think he just feels more comfortable with Soriano finishing. Not that I can blame him. Soriano doesn't seem to be as dominate when he pitches the 9th though. I think they're both going to end up with 15 saves.
