I saw the other day he's in the minors for the Phillies

So the new cologne will be "Scent of a Phanatic"

This would totally stink if it ends up being big. Broxton has been a stud. It is from Yahoo Sports, so maybe (hopefully) it should be taken with a grain of salt.

RHP Jonathan Broxton was unavailable for Wednesday night's game, although he ultimately wasn't needed. Broxton received a cortisone shot in the big toe of his right foot, where he has been experiencing discomfort. Manager Joe Torre said before the game that because the toe was on Broxton's push-off leg, it affected his fastball velocity.

Troncoso is his backup, according to the front page. He had a scoreless streak of 13 1/3 innings broken on Teusday night when he gave up a 3 run homer to Giambi. I was looking over that 13 and 1/3 innings, and a lot of it wasn't pretty. I imagine Dodgers fans must have been on the edge of their seat with him in a few of those outings. Has anyone seen this guy pitch? Does he have the stuff of a closer? I'm trying to figure out if I should pick him up just in case this thing with Broxton is serious. Someone in my league just dropped him after his Teusday night hiccup (was using him for holds).

Dodger manager Joe Torre told Charley Steiner on the Dodger radio pregame show that relief pitcher Jonathan Broxton would be unavailable to pitch tonight after receiving treatment for a sore nerve in his toe. More details will emerge. Torre anticipated Broxton would be ready to return Thursday, but Dodger fans will keep their toes crossed.
Confirmation from LA Times.

Can any L.A. fans provide information on Troncoso? Is he in the lead to close if Big Brox is out for a while? Can you provide any info aside from his statistics.... Does he have good stuff etc.
Thanks.

Fitz, are you the same Wicked Pissah Fitz thats famous line is GFY? Or are you just a fan of his? Lol.
I'm sure you've never made similar spelling errors in your day when typing a quick message. Then again, maybe your Harvard Law school education prevents you from making such careless mistakes. Who knows?
