Yeah, walking 4 of the first 6 batters of the season will make your walk rate look bad for a while.

I'd honestly be looking at Corpas in Colo and Chris Ray in Bal as he's been pitching much better since he demotion to the minors. Remember, Ray is still recovering from TJ surgery and I think when he proves he's ready he'll be called up to close.

Scott Downs hurt himself running to 1st in the 10th inning and didnt come out to pitch. Carlson replaced him.

No chance BJ Ryan is given another chance right? He has been good lately.

IF Downs is hurt (and I don't know of any details yet....), I'd think Ryan would be put back in at closer based on experience and the fact that he's pitched OK the past month since coming off the DL. A very close 2nd would be Frasor, it could very well end up being a committee (but lets see if Downs is actually hurt or not first....)

Man, I hope not. Downs has been great this season. Let's leave Ryan rotting in whichever pre-9th inning duties the Jays have him in, shall we? Here's to Downs only being hurt for a day or 2. :-o

Doesn't look good for Downs. DL trip is now possible!
