Meanwhile, Wheeler is the one out of the crew yet to notch a save.

Report that Putz is out 8-10 weeks. From rotoworld:
WFAN is reporting that J.J. Putz will miss 8-10 weeks due to elbow surgery. The only ones who didn't seem to see this coming were the Mets. Putz's velocity was down, he couldn't locate, and his claims to not be affected by the bone spur in his elbow rang hollow. Bobby Parnell had already claimed the eighth-inning job, and should be in line for any leftover save chances after Francisco Rodriguez. Jun. 5 - 1:48 pm et Source: Metsblog.com

Hey, why is Morrow listed as a closer in a "safe" situation? Is that really true? Maybe I read it wrong

Per ESPN (per Rotowire.com): Francisco was held out of Friday's game due to shoulder stiffness, the team's web site reports. Spin: There's a little more concern over this injury that normal, as Francisco came off the DL two weeks ago due to a shoulder issue. Consider him day-to-day for now, but you can likely assume he won't be used on both Saturday and Sunday. CJ Wilson hasn't been lights out, but I'm assuming that he'll be the one filling in again?

That's good news for me since I held on to CJ Wilson just in case Francisco had a set back. I don't understand why yahoo has NO new news on this.
