yes it seems to, but i don't see izzy being very capable. i don't see him lasting long so it wouldn't surprise me if wheeler has to take over.

Why not? He's one year removed from a 2.48 ERA and 1.07 WHIP.

K-Rod was back and available to pitch today, for those vulturing that situation.

So I'm assuming it was a ones time thing and KRpd should be fine from here on out? Putz is wasting a valuable spt starter roster spot.

I don't think he is jeopardy. He's only blown 2 saves I think. And 11 of his earned runs have came in 2 appearances. Besides those he has like 13 innings with 2 runs. He has stunk the last two times out. But they're pitching him alot. He pitched both ends of double header earlier in the week. I think that had a lot to do with his performance those last 2 games.

his era is also 9.15 and hes not just blowing saves, hes losing games. its brutal watching him...he must be having flashbacks of that pujols bomb a couple years ago.

It also could be the knee. Regardless, I thought LIdge actually looked pretty good today. The run allowed was mostly due to luck, and the fact that Lidge is horrible at holding runners on. The breaking ball is still there; his biggest problem is fastball location, but he was doing pretty good with that today.

So is the hedge bet in Florida still Nunez or has Meyer jumped him? I am quite concerned about Lindstrom as well.
