I dont have a link b/c I'm rushing to pick up Izzy, Howell, and/or Wheeler in my leagues.
Not 100% sure but what I read seems credible.
http://blogs.tampabay.com/rays/2009/05/ ... on-dl.htmlDon't forget to pick up Balfour too. You're entire pitching staff is gonna be TB

Plus the other 2 or 3 options

I'm dropping CJ wilson, who I had in all leagues, and possibly Ian Snell types who are borderline. When the situation gets ironed out, i'll drop the ones who arent in the mix.
My guess so far (% odds of them being the chosen closer)
Izzy: 50%
J.P. Howell: 20%%
Wheeler: 30%
Other: 10%
Just IMHO
It's Wheeler's job to lose. He did well in the role last year when given the chance.

I only have room on my team for one. Do I pick up Izzy?

Roto is saying it's either Izzy or Wheeler although that really doesn't mean much of anything. I'm hoping they give Howell a shot. I hope there's a save opp. tonight.

I kind of think Wheeler gets first crack, no???
He did a viable job last year when Percy went down converting 13-18.

Per Rotoworld...
Rays placed RHP Troy Percival on the 15-day disabled list.
Percival is suffering from right shoulder tendinitis. No word yet on who will get to close in his absence, though Jason Isringhausen and Dan Wheeler would seem to be the primary candidates.

there are a million possibilities. there is no real point in continuing this speculation until we see what happens in a game. maybe we'll see one of them come in early in a game down a run or two. we can then speculate whether that means he isn't the guy. maybe we'll see one actually get a save. we can then speculate whether he is going to be the one and only closer. maybe we'll see someone get a save opp and blow it. or see someone be really lights out in the 8th before someone blows it.
right now there are too many guys with legit chances at saves to really know.
i'm the guy that puts the "nip" in omnipotent...
