The strike out bounced ball looked like it dropped when it was suppose to. And with first open he didn't have to give him a good pitch.

Joakim Soria admitted after Saturday's game that he's been feeling some soreness in his shoulder this season.

"Everything so far that’s been checked out has checked out OK," manager Trey Hillman said. "I thought (in spring training) that he was a little behind to start (in terms of game-ready conditioning)." The Royals would be wise to run a few tests.

Read where Austin Kearns for Miguel Batista is a possibility.

So is it looking like Hanrahan is getting the Washington job back? Still a committee? I'm completely baffled...

I love how the Nationals on page 1 have like 45 guys lined up :-D It is so correct.

I think Linebrink is next behind Jenks (instead of Dotel), Linebrink has pitched 4 consecutive 8th innings. ;-D

I didn't want to start a thread for this so I'll just post it here.

Daneil Bard is getting called up. The kid has amazing stuff and could be one of the best MR from here on out.

Mike Gonzalez just pitched the 8th and now Soriano is now in for the 9th. The announcers said it was because of lefty/righty matchups.
