I'd say its Wells right now, with Hanrahan coming back into the fold soon. After that Beimel or Tavarez depending on matchups. After that comes Mock and maybe Macdougal when he's ready. so:
Wells/Hanrahan/Beimel/Tavarez/Mock... time to cut bait on Mock I think.
I agree. Mock is very low on the pecking order. Wells looked pretty good last night, although on the mound, it doesn't look like he has that closer "mentality" (whatever that means). I'm willing to say that Wells could make a decent run on it. Beimel being left-handed helps (Wells).

Is Madson a must pick up w/ Lidge's struggles/injuries?
Any news on the situation.
Apparently he is working on some changes to his delivery due to the knee issue. Charlie says he just needs some work. I think his knee is going to continue to be a problem, whether it mean he can't pitch, or he changes how he pitches (which means ineffective pitching so far). If you have Lidge I'd definitely grab Madson as insurance.

No. One of those rare situations for a save. The guy pitched the last 3 2/3 innings of blow out.

Beimel looked bad, Wells is looking worse and he is getting pulled for Hanrahan right now with guys on 2nd and 3rd. This 1 out could win him the job back.

PLEASE JOEL, PLEASE GET THIS OUT!!!
I stuck with him, and have loved the disaster that is the Nats bullpen since he got the boot, but the problem is, Hanrahan probably will blow it anyway.
