ya really, joba is more of an 8th inning guy than a closer.

his ERA as a reliever is exactly half of his ERA as a starter, that means he's twice as good as a reliever.

That is about as good as comparing mile splits of a marathon runner to times in a one mile race.

Andrew Bailey pitches two innings tonight for his first Major League save. 2 innings, 2 K. Looked very good tonight.

At no point was Ziegler warming up in the bullpen.

I'm curious about the OAK situation.

Is Ziegler still trying to catch up from his sickness or something?

I know they like Bailey & he's pitched extremely well so I guess it's worth monitoring.
