ya really, joba is more of an 8th inning guy than a closer.
That would be such a waste of resources. Joba is extremely impressive as a SP. Remember he's only made a handful of major league starts, and seems to have the temperament of an old pro.

his ERA as a reliever is exactly half of his ERA as a starter, that means he's twice as good as a reliever.
