Pete Abe says they're calling it an "arm strength" issue, I haven't seen it called a sore shoulder. Usually when there is an arm injury, accuracy is the first sign. Mo hasn't walked a batter this year, though. If something were to happen right now, I think they'd go to Veras even though he hasn't been very good. Coke has been the best reliever with Bruney out, but I don't think Girardi would throw someone with little experience into the closer role.

He isn't 100%, I don't think it is because he is injured now though. He just hasn't gotten all the way back from the off-season surgery. Girardi didn't really say anything other than that is arm wasn't back to 100% yet.

How is Franklin's status listed as shaky? I guess he the 4 hits and 0 runs he's let up this year is not good enough?

i'm guessing it factors in things like career numbers, manager's style (does he have a quick hook), other arms in the pen and not just the 1st month of the season
